Meet LeAnn Carrell

Founder & Coach, Coaching with God

I believe God can use every chapter of our lives—even the chapters we never imagined would become part of our calling.

Looking back, I can see how my professional career, decades of recovery, coaching training, life experience, and ultimately my relationship with Jesus Christ have come together to prepare me for the work I feel called to do today through Coaching with God.

Professionally, I bring more than 30 years of experience spanning corporate leadership, international business, entrepreneurship, marketing, sales, strategy, and organizational change. I spent a decade working for large U.S. and international companies, including leadership roles in Europe, before spending more than 20 years building and operating a family-owned business.

Those years taught me far more than business strategy. They taught me how to lead people, navigate uncertainty, manage change, build relationships, solve problems, make difficult decisions, recover from setbacks, and keep moving forward when the path wasn't always clear.

Eventually, I realized that one of the things I loved most wasn't simply building businesses—it was helping people grow.

That realization led me to professional coaching.

I became an ICF-certified Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and began coaching executives, managers, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. Coaching gave me professional tools and training for something I had felt drawn toward for years: creating a safe place where people can slow down, become honest about where they are, discover where they want to go, and develop the courage and practical steps to move forward.

But my professional experience is only part of what I bring to Coaching with God.

Recovery Changed the Way I Understand People

My personal journey of recovery began in 1995 with Al-Anon. Over the decades that followed, my recovery continued through AA and ACA.

The Twelve Steps taught me principles that continue to shape the way I live and coach: honesty, surrender, humility, accountability, forgiveness, amends, service, rigorous self-examination, and the willingness to keep growing.

For years, I understood God primarily as a Higher Power.

Then, in August 2025, my spiritual journey changed profoundly when I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

Suddenly, so much of my recovery journey began to make sense in a new way.

Recovery taught me how to surrender.
Jesus taught me Who I was surrendering to.

Today, I believe God can use both recovery and Christian community as powerful places of healing and transformation. One of the deepest callings on my heart is to help build a bridge between these two worlds—to help people in recovery explore a relationship with Christ and to help Christians discover the healing, honesty, accountability, and community that recovery principles can offer.

Why Coaching with God?

I created Coaching with God because I believe people often need more than advice.

Sometimes we need someone willing to sit beside us, ask meaningful questions, listen without judgment, challenge us when necessary, help us recognize patterns we cannot see ourselves, and encourage us to take the next faithful step.

That is what I want coaching to provide.

I don't believe my role as a coach is to tell you what God's plan is for your life. My role is to help create the space for you to explore it.

Together, we can clarify what matters most to you, identify what's getting in the way, explore your relationship with God, establish meaningful goals, create practical action plans, and build the accountability needed to follow through.

And you don't have to arrive with perfect faith.

You may be a lifelong Christian who feels stuck. You may have spent years in recovery but still aren't sure what you believe about Jesus. You may be rebuilding your life after a difficult season. You may be wrestling with relationships, purpose, career, business, family, or simply the question, “God, what do You want me to do next?”

You are welcome here.

Experience Meets Calling

Today, I bring all of these experiences to the coaching relationship:

My professional coaching training helps me ask instead of assume.

My corporate leadership experience helps me understand people, organizations, communication, and change.

My years as an entrepreneur help me understand risk, responsibility, uncertainty, perseverance, and the realities of building something meaningful.

My decades in recovery help me understand surrender, accountability, vulnerability, broken relationships, healing, and starting again.

And my relationship with Jesus has given all of it a deeper purpose.

I don't come to Coaching with God because I have life completely figured out. I come because I have experienced what can happen when we become willing to tell the truth, ask for help, surrender what we cannot control, take responsibility for what we can change, and invite God into the process.

That's the kind of coaching relationship I hope to offer you.

Your story isn't finished.

Maybe you're standing at a crossroads. Maybe you know something needs to change but don't know where to begin. Maybe God has been stirring something in you that you can't quite name yet.

You don't have to figure it out alone.

Let's explore what God may be inviting you into next.

God transforms. Coaching helps you walk with Him in the process.
